Pelvic health integrated with broader rehabilitation

Jenna graduated with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta in 2012 after completing earlier degrees in Athletic Therapy and Kinesiology at the University of Manitoba. She began focused pelvic-health training early in her physiotherapy career and has continued to build specialized skills in both women's and men's pelvic health.

She also works directly with local obstetricians, gynecologists and urologists when appropriate, helping patients integrate physiotherapy with their broader medical care rather than treating pelvic health in isolation.

Is Jenna Truelove a good fit for you?

Jenna may be a particularly good starting point if:

  • You have bladder leakage, pelvic pressure, prolapse or pelvic pain

  • You are pregnant, postpartum or preparing to return to exercise

  • You are preparing for or recovering from prostate surgery

  • You want a pelvic health physiotherapist who can also assess the hips, back, abdominal wall, breathing and general movement

  • You want care that coordinates with your physician or specialist when needed

Part of an integrated team

Jenna can draw on the wider Maloney Elkassem Wellness team for musculoskeletal, pain, stress and wellness concerns outside pelvic health. She specifically refers concussion and vestibular problems to colleagues with those focused certifications, while maintaining coordinated care within the clinic.
