- Bachelor of Education — University of Alberta 
- Over 20 years of experience as a teacher, school counsellor, and dance instructor 
- Former preschool owner and operator, with deep expertise in child development and family support 
- Clinical experience with Jewish Family Services, supporting adults, couples, and families with addiction, trauma, grief and loss, and psychotic disorders 
Sherri’s Approach to Counselling
Sherri believes that healing begins in a safe, nurturing environment where clients feel truly accepted. Her sessions are collaborative, flexible, and strengths-based, tailored to meet each person’s needs. Sherri’s goal is to help clients reconnect with their inner strengths, develop self-awareness, and achieve sustainable emotional well-being.
Sherri is passionate about healing from trauma and combines wisdom from her lived experienc and continual professional training to help facilitate this in clients. She uses a holistic approach that integrates the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual aspects of healing - alongside somatic therapy techniques that allow the body to heal past hurts and choos a new adaptive path.
